St John's College

The Class of 2015 met over the weekend of the fourteenth of June earlier this year for their reunion. Drinks were enjoyed on the Friday evening, where old classmates caught up and shared news of the ten years spent outside of school. This was a fantastic preamble to the events of the Saturday, a traditional fixture hosted by St Johns against cross Jukskei rivals Pretoria Boys High.

The Class of 2015 met in the morning at the Old Johannian, where they were greeted by current Johannians who led them on a tour of the school. This was a blend of nostalgia and new discoveries as the OJs shared war stories in old familiar spaces and appreciated the new additions to the campus. The tour ended on Burger Field, where the group watched the Blues play Boys High. Although the result was disappointing, it did not detract from the enjoyment of the day, and everyone made their way back to the Old Johannian to enjoy a generous spread provided by the restaurant.

This was a fitting conclusion to a weekend filled with fond memories and long standing friendships.
