On 4 September, Old Johannians from across the generations came together at the East India Club in London for a wonderful evening of connection and conversation. More than 100 guests across the generations (from the Class of 2024 to the Class of 1957!) attended, making it one of our most memorable gatherings yet.
The event was hosted by Shelley Roberts, Head of Advancement at St John’s, and Graham Kerr-Phillips (Alston 1975), Chairman of the Old Johannian Association who shared updates from the College and the OJA. They spoke about the exciting work being done to expand access to excellent education through our Bursaries and Scholarships Programme, as well as the Academy After School Programme, which supports neighbouring inner-city schools. We were also delighted to welcome Claire Hock, former Chair of Council at St John’s.
A big thank-you to everyone who joined us — it’s always inspiring to see such a strong and engaged community of Old Johannians here in the UK. We look forward to seeing you all again soon!
