Garden Route OJ Luncheon – Plettenberg Bay
The OJ luncheon in Plettenberg Bay took place on 7th November 2018 on a warm and sunny day at the Equinox Restaurant.
It was a perfect setting for the 20 Old Boys and partners to have a chin wag and to enjoy fine food and drink. After a moments silence to honour those who passed away since our last gathering (Neville Rosser 1952) Peter Vieyra said grace before the tasty four course meal was enjoyed by all.
It was especially good to see James MacNae from Australia who had made a special effort to attend by changing his plans and dates to visit his ‘boet’ William. Unfortunately, Dave (Doggie) Matthews had a tree fall on the land line and thus was out of communication for a very lengthy period!! An early change of date may have confused some lads and for this I apologise. However, the gathering gave the thumbs up for another lunch in 2019 at a place still to be decided. Sedgefield, Wilderness or Mossel Bay may be the spotlight.
